1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ReadGlim ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any provision, you must not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you by email or prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Description of Service

ReadGlim is an AI-powered content intelligence platform that aggregates, ranks, and summarises publicly available technical articles, blog posts, research papers, and community discussions from third-party sources. ReadGlim does not produce original editorial content and makes no representation as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of aggregated third-party material. Summaries are machine-generated derivatives intended for informational convenience only.

3. Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction) to create an account. By registering, you represent that all information you provide is accurate and current. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any of the following reasons: (a) providing false or misleading registration information; (b) sharing account credentials with third parties; (c) engaging in conduct prohibited under Section 5; (d) receiving credible reports of abuse; or (e) inactivity exceeding 24 consecutive months after written notice.

4. Free Access and Future Paid Tiers

The Service is currently offered free of charge. ReadGlim reserves the right to introduce paid subscription tiers in the future. If we do so, we will provide existing users with at least 30 days' advance notice and will clearly distinguish which features remain free. Free-tier features in place at the time of any such change will continue to be accessible at no charge for a reasonable transition period we will specify.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use the Service only for lawful purposes consistent with these Terms. The following are expressly prohibited:

• Scraping, crawling, mirroring, or systematically downloading content beyond what a standard browser retrieves during ordinary personal use.
• Using the Service, or any data obtained from it, to train, fine-tune, or benchmark machine-learning or AI models, or to build a competing content aggregation or summarisation service, without prior written consent from ReadGlim.
• Attempting to access, probe, or exploit any part of the Service's infrastructure, including its ranking, summarisation, or personalisation systems, through reverse engineering, decompilation, or any other means.
• Submitting, uploading, or transmitting malware, spam, or any material that is defamatory, obscene, or that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
• Impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your affiliation with any person or entity.
• Using automated tools (bots, scripts, crawlers) to interact with the Service in a manner that imposes an unreasonable server load or degrades service quality for other users.
• Circumventing any technical or access-control measures we have put in place.

6. Intellectual Property

The ReadGlim platform — including its design, codebase, brand identity, ranking algorithms, and AI-generated summaries — is the exclusive property of ReadGlim and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Third-party article content remains the property of its respective publishers and authors. ReadGlim's summaries constitute derivative works created for informational purposes under applicable fair-use or fair-dealing principles; we do not claim ownership of underlying source material.

7. Copyright Takedown (DMCA-Style Notice)

If you are a copyright owner and believe that content surfaced or summarised by ReadGlim infringes your rights, please send a written notice to support@readglim.com that includes: (a) identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) the specific URL(s) of the allegedly infringing content on ReadGlim; (c) your name, postal address, telephone number, and email; (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner; and (e) a statement, made under penalty of applicable law, that the information you provide is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf. We will investigate and respond to valid notices within 14 business days.

8. AI-Generated Summaries — Important Disclaimer

Summaries on ReadGlim are generated by large language models and are provided solely for informational convenience. They may contain inaccuracies, omissions, or misrepresentations of the source material. You must not rely on AI-generated summaries for medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or any professional decision-making. Always consult the original source article before acting on information presented in a summary. ReadGlim expressly disclaims all liability for decisions made based on summary content.

9. Third-Party Content and Links

ReadGlim links to and summarises third-party content. We do not endorse any third-party source, author, publisher, or viewpoint. We are not responsible for the accuracy, content, privacy practices, or availability of external sites. If you believe a summary materially misrepresents its source, contact us with the article URL and a description of the misrepresentation.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted access. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, free of viruses or harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content on the Service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReadGlim and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities — arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) fifty US dollars (USD 50) or (b) the total amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. You may close your account via the account settings page or by emailing support@readglim.com. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without cause and with or without prior notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if required by law. Upon termination, your licence to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 14 survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to first contact us at support@readglim.com and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If the dispute is not resolved within that period, either party may pursue available legal remedies. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or other equitable relief from a court of competent jurisdiction.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of competent jurisdiction. If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
